Our water-soluble two-component polyurethane resin system empox®PUR is a high-spec top coat.
With an organic solvent content of less than 125g/l when mixed, empox®PUR is easy on the environment and makes for better working conditions. Under current international regulations, it's not classified as a hazardous substance, making handling and transportation easier.
empox®PUR is especially easy to use: It comes complete with pre-matched quantities of its two components to ensure an optimum mix, can be applied with any standard tools, including spray guns, and has a pot life of around 2.5 hours at a temperature of 20°C.
You can apply empox®PUR TopCoat to metal and plastic surfaces of all kinds. In addition, empox®PUR TopCoat can be used as a finish on all surfaces prepared with empox® epoxy resin primers.
As long as it's still wet, empox®PUR removes easily from skin or clothing-just use water. Tools are also simple to clean and ready to reuse in no time.
empox®PUR is not just great for large-scale jobs, it's also ideal for decorative or detailed painting and design work. empox®PUR TopCoat is available in standard system colors, including RAL K7 Fandeck, Industrial Global (more than 200 colors), and ColorCue (1,000 colors), plus a range of shades for special effects.
